New Delhi: The Scholar School celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and vibrancy, presenting a colourful showcase of talent, values, and social awareness. The event brought together students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests in a lively atmosphere marked by performances and meaningful messages.
Dr. Khwaja M. Shahid, President of the All India Educational Movement and former Pro Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan, Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, and Mr. M. Sajid, Director of Vision 2026 and General Secretary of HWF.
The programme commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a solemn and spiritual tone for the celebration. Students welcomed the dignitaries with bouquets and mementos. Principal Ms. Mahpara Jan delivered the welcome address and introduced the guests to the audience, highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic education.
The Annual Day performances were a blend of entertainment and social messaging. The pre-primary students charmed the audience with humorous Qawwali and lively action songs. The programme also addressed contemporary socio-political themes and moral values. A street play on cyber security awareness drew attention to the importance of digital safety, while skits such as Imaan Ki Jeet and Kindness emphasized ethical living and compassion. Other highlights included an instrumental performance, a thematic presentation titled Breathe Delhi Breathe, and a colourful Jungle Safari segment. Each act reflected the students’ creativity and confidence, earning loud applause from the audience.
In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Khwaja M. Shahid praised the students, teachers, and school management for organizing an outstanding programme. He emphasized the importance of moral education and reminded students of their responsibilities towards their parents and the nation. Guest of Honour S. Ameenul Hasan underscored the value of quality education and expressed optimism about the students’ bright future. He commended the children’s performances and acknowledged their achievements.
Mr. M. Sajid admired The Scholar School, describing it as a role model among educational institutions. His motivating speech boosted the morale of the teaching and administrative staff.
The event was efficiently managed by the school’s Administrator, Dr. Qazi Muhammad Miyan, and conducted by Ms. Saima Akhtar and Sabia Sultan. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal Ms. Hira Irfan, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring Annual Day.
