“The nation’s overall development has benefited significantly from the contributions of religions and their adherents. Power seekers nowadays have taken over the task of inciting religious polarisation among communities by sowing discord and then profiting politically from it,” said the national secretary Rahmathunnissa A.

“It is the responsibility of every religious community to anticipate and avert this impending doom. There ought to be an all-embracing fraternity among different religious communities. Mutual love should be shared, not animosity and hatred,” she further said.

“Celebrations and festivities should be utilised to proclaim this message,” added Rahmathunnissa A.

The two-day camp was led by Jamaat e Islami women’s wing president P T P Saajida, general secretary Naseema K T, and secretary Rajeena.
