Thousands Gather in Hyderabad to Protest Israeli Actions in Gaza

Hyderabad, June 13: In a significant show of solidarity with Palestine, thousands gathered at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds yesterday to protest against Israeli actions in Gaza. Organized by several Muslim organizations, the event featured impassioned speeches condemning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demanding an end to the ongoing genocide.

The public meeting, held on Wednesday evening, with participation from various leaders and scholars. Dr. Khalid Mubashir-UZ-Zafar, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana, emphasized the brutal impact of the conflict on Gaza’s civilian population, particularly children and women. “Netanyahu will be remembered in history as a butcher of innocent children,” Dr. Zafar declared.

Prominent figures at the rally included Maulana Jafar Pasha, JIH Telangana Vice Presidents Muhammad Azharuddin and Abdul Majeed Shuaib, and numerous others. The gathering called for immediate international intervention to halt the ongoing violence. Students from the Students Islamic Organization (SIO) also participated, displaying placards in support of Palestine.

Dr. Zafar, in his address, stressed the need for a collective effort to stop the bloodshed in Gaza. He urged organizations to develop networks for the collection and distribution of clean water and other essentials to areas in need, highlighting a broader call for humanitarian support.

Maulana Waliullah Syeedi Falahi, National Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, also spoke on this occasion. He condemned the Israeli actions as barbaric and highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. “The systematic destruction and killing in Gaza represent one of the most inhumane acts of the 21st century,” Maulana Syeedi said. He emphasized that Netanyahu’s actions would leave a dark mark on history, particularly due to the targeting of innocent children.

He underscored the urgency of stopping the Israeli offensive in Gaza, calling for widespread support.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment to stand with the people of Palestine and to work towards ending the conflict. The large turnout and fervent speeches underscored the strong sentiments of solidarity and the urgent demand for peace.
