Jaipur, Feb. 5: The three-day district-level Tablighi Ijtima concluded here Monday. Lakhs of devotees offered prayers for peace, harmony, and brotherhood.
The program was attended by lakhs of devotees from the Jaipur division who stayed for three days and helped in making all the arrangements. Islamic scholars from across the country were present at the event.
Maulana Chiraguddin emphasized the importance of leading a simple life. He said real life is the one after death.
Maulana Yusuf said this religion has reached us after great effort and hard work. The success of a human being lies in following this religion.
Imam Jaipur Jama Masjid Mufti Syed Amjad Ali gave a message to the people to perform nikah with simplicity. He appealed to end the rituals and customs and called the nikah with the least expense as the best nikah.

Arrangements for breakfast and lunch were made at the Ijtima for the people who came, especially those from outside Jaipur. People from different areas of the city had set up food stalls, where things were being made available at subsidized rates. Special arrangements were also made for wudu. Khidmatgar teams took care of the arrangements for parking, medical care, surveillance, and others.
