Darbhanga: An orientation program for the newly admitted students of the B.Ed session 2025-27 at Dr. Zakir Hussain Teachers’ Training College, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga highlighted the role of teachers in shaping a developed India. The event began with a welcome song by college students, followed by the presentation of bouquets and souvenirs to the guests in line with Mithila traditions.
College Principal Prof. (Dr) M. Hassan welcomed the dignitaries, calling their presence both an honor and an inspiration for the students. Chief Guest Prof. Dharmshila Gupta, Rajya Sabha MP, underlined that teachers are not only conveyors of knowledge but also moral guides for society. She stressed the need to integrate innovation and values in education and urged students and teachers to give up polythene use for environmental protection.
Keynote speaker Prof. (Dr) Faiz Ahmed described education as a mission that builds moral and intellectual consciousness, positioning teachers as nation builders. Special Guest Dr. Insan Ali emphasized innovation, digital literacy, emotional intelligence, and social responsibility as essential qualities in education.
Other professors shared their insights on education’s role in national progress. Outstanding participants of the Supportive Content Exhibition were awarded with mementos and certificates. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr) Absarul Haque.
