Trump-Netanyahu Finalize Deal with Four Arab Nations to End Gaza War, Exile Hamas Leadership

Gaza | In a controversial development, former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have reportedly reached an agreement to end the ongoing war in Gaza — without the involvement or consent of Hamas or Iran. The deal, finalized with the participation of four Arab nations, includes a plan to exile Hamas leaders from Gaza and transfer administrative control to selected Arab states.
According to a report published by The Times of Israel, the war in Gaza is expected to come to a close within the next two weeks. A crucial telephone conversation between Trump and Netanyahu reportedly took place shortly after the recent U.S. strike on Iran. The call was also joined by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Israeli Minister Ron Dermer.
The proposed plan involves the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and two unnamed Arab nations agreeing to assume governance over Gaza, effectively replacing Hamas. Israeli sources say Hamas leaders will be exiled, and all Israeli hostages will be released. Additionally, any Palestinians choosing to leave Gaza will be relocated to other countries willing to accept them.
The Times of Israel further claims that discussions also touched on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and both Saudi Arabia and Syria. In return, Israel would express support for a two-state solution — but only on the condition that the Palestinian Authority undergoes significant reforms.
The agreement also reportedly includes the U.S. recognizing Israeli sovereignty over parts of the West Bank. Another key point is the global resettlement of Gaza residents who voluntarily opt to emigrate. Trump is said to have assured Netanyahu that the war’s conclusion would be led and controlled by the U.S.
If implemented, the plan could significantly reshape the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East. However, the exclusion of Hamas and Iran from the deal, and the forced displacement of Gaza’s leadership and residents, is likely to spark backlash across the region.
