Ranchi, May 29, 2024: The Jharkhand Chapter of the Women Education and Empowerment Trust (TWEET) organized its 4th Skill Development (Cutting & Stitching) Course Certificates Distribution program at the Al-Manar building here Tuesday. The event celebrated the achievements of 28 beneficiaries who successfully completed the course during the session from November 2023 to April 2024.
Dr. Naaz Aafreen, the State Coordinator, introduced TWEET and presented a few glimpses of the organization’s work and achievements. The event was attended by 40 participants, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and empowerment.
Ms. Nazia Tabassum, President of Ummah Helpline, spoke on the advantages of skill development, emphasizing the importance of vocational training in improving livelihoods and fostering independence. Ms. Zeenat Ara Tabassum highlighted the crucial role educated women play in the development of society, inspiring attendees with her insights.
Ms. Rumaizah Ambreen provided a summary of the program, reflecting on the journey and accomplishments of the participants. The highlight of the event was the distribution of cash incentives to the top three performers in the cutting and stitching examination, recognizing their hard work and excellence.
The program concluded with refreshments provided by TWEET, offering a moment of celebration and camaraderie among the participants and organizers.
The event marked another successful initiative by TWEET in its ongoing mission to empower women through education and skill development.
