In a tragic incident, two senior Iranian judges were assassinated in a terrorist attack in Tehran on Saturday, reports the Mehr News.
The attack took place in Saturday morning when a gunman targeted Hujjatoleslam Razini and Hujjatoleslam Moghiseh, both long-serving judges of Iran’s Supreme Court. The assailant reportedly committed suicide immediately after carrying out the attack.
Initial investigations indicate that the attacker had no prior criminal cases or connections as a client with the Supreme Court. Alongside the tragic deaths, another judge and a bodyguard sustained injuries during the attack.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend any accomplices involved in orchestrating the terrorist act.
