Udaipur, July 8: In a touching display of respect and gratitude, the city of Udaipur in Rajasthan warmly welcomed Fatima, the mother of Shaheed Major Mustafa Bohra, who was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra by President Droupadi Murmu for his bravery and sacrifice. This marked the first visit of Major Mustafa’s parents to Udaipur since his tragic passing away.
The event, organized by Hidayat Tulla, the convener of ‘Run for Mustafa’ and a councilor, along with his associates, transformed Surajpol Chowraha into a scene of patriotic fervor. The area was adorned with tricolors and posters of Major Mustafa, while chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Major Mustafa Amar Rahe” resonated through the air as the crowd showered Fatima with flower petals.
Fatima, deeply moved by the tribute, shared emotional stories of her son’s valor, which touched the hearts of everyone present. The occasion saw the attendance of notable figures such as Haji Pyara Bhai, Babu Lal, Ashok, Tarannum Khan, Nazmeen Khan, Shila Bahen, Bansilal Prajapati, Samson Bhagoora, Subhan, Virendra Prajapati, Jagdish, and many others.
This heartfelt outpouring of love and support for Shaheed Major Mustafa and his family stands as a testament to the profound respect and admiration the people of Udaipur hold for their fallen hero.
