New Delhi, July 12: In a distinguished ceremony organized by All India Unani Tibbi Congress (Delhi State), several Unani doctors were honored with the Life Sciences Award 2024. The awardees included Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Dr. Mirza Asif Baig, Dr. Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Mohammad Arif Saifi, Hakeem Azeer Baqai, Hakeem Aftab Alam, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Hapurdi, and Mohammad Imran Qannouji, among others.
Dr. Faheem Malik, convener of the program and National President of the Doctors and Paramedical Trust Delhi, emphasized the importance of recognizing those who serve the public with a sense of ethical responsibility. He noted that the awards were presented on Doctor’s Day to a few Unani doctors who have demonstrated exemplary service.
The ceremony also honored the renowned Unani physician, Hakeem Syed Ahmed Khan, an accolade that brought great pride to the attendees. Dr. Mirza Asif Baig highlighted the dedication and selfless spirit of the Unani doctors associated with the All India Unani Tibbi Congress. He mentioned that their greatest achievement lies in their commitment to altruistic service, as evidenced by the ongoing free Unani medical camps.
Presiding over the event, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed expressed that serving the public brings a profound sense of spiritual joy, achieved through free Unani medical camps and their private clinics.
