Lucknow: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has raised serious concerns about the worsening unemployment situation in Uttar Pradesh and blamed the BJP government for it.
He stated, “The BJP has turned Uttar Pradesh into a state of unemployment. The youth are being forced to go to war-torn countries in search of work.”
Akhilesh Yadav further said, “The BJP government in Uttar Pradesh has created a land of unemployment. Educated youth are unable to find jobs. If there were employment opportunities within the state, people wouldn’t be compelled to leave and look for work in other states. The unemployment situation in Uttar Pradesh is dire.”
He also pointed out, “During the COVID period, the BJP government had promised to conduct skill mapping to ensure local employment. However, this too turned out to be just another BJP slogan. The evidence lies in the fact that the highest number of people forced to work outside their home state are from Uttar Pradesh.”
Akhilesh Yadav continued, “In terms of migration for employment, Uttar Pradesh is at the top among all Indian states. The BJP government is deliberately orchestrating paper leaks to prevent reservations and jobs from being provided. The BJP is anti-youth and has no intention of offering jobs or employment.”
He concluded by saying, “Under the BJP government, both youth and farmers are suffering. The unemployment situation in Uttar Pradesh has reached alarming levels, and the youth are being forced to seek jobs in war-torn countries like Israel. The BJP considers these tragic circumstances to be their major achievements.”
