Gulbarga, July 4: Toppers in Urdu medium of tenth grade from three districts Gulbarga, Yadgir and Bidar along with their teachers were felicitated here.
The students who went from Urdu medium to pre-university course and secured ranks and the students from Urdu who topped in NEET were also felicitated with mementos.
Helping Hand and India Baitulmal Trust jointly organized the award distribution programme.
Likewise, the teachers who are striving the save the Urdu school with declining strength of students were also duly recognized for their services.
On this occasion, some distinguished personalities from the community like Syed Abdul Ghani, Director Tippu Sultan Unani Medical College, Gulbarga; and renowned lawyer Mohammed Azeemuddin were also felicitated for the yeomen services in various fields.
The audience which included students and parents was also briefed about various government schemes and scholarships meant for students.
Iqbal Ali, vice president of India Baitulamal; Salar Masood, ECO, Department of Education; Mohammed Naser, Asst. Commissioner Commercial Taxes and others addressed the gathering.
