Mysore: Don’t rub your eyes in disbelief, what you are reading is true. Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) launched a rath yatra here for promotion of harmony, peace and progress. Someshwarnath Swamy of Adichunchanagiri Mutt, Mysore branch kicked off the yatra.
Speaking later, he said, “The nation was invaded by outsiders several times, dividing people emotionally. There is an urgent need to inculcate patriotism and nationalism among people of all faiths in the nation to bring them together.”
He stressed over bringing people of all faiths living together in harmony and peace.
The yatra began from the famous Chamundi Hills in the city.
