Hyderabad: Chief Executive Officer Telangana Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah has been given the additional responsibility of Director/Secretary of Telangana Urdu Academy. Special Secretary Minority Welfare Tafser Iqbal IPS recently issued orders in this regard.
Following the orders, Asadullah assumed charge. He will perform his duties in this post till further orders of the government.
The post of Director/Secretary was vacant since the transfer of Shaik Liyakat Hussain, Assistant Secretary. On this occasion, Assistant Director Telangana Urdu Academy V. Krishna, PS/Superintendent Shaik Ismail, Superintendent Mr. P. Attaullah Khan welcomed him by presenting a bouquet and highlighted all the schemes of the Urdu Academy.
Meanwhile, the government has appointed Sajjad Ali, Assistant Secretary, Minorities Welfare as Executive Officer of Telangana State Haj Committee.
Sajjad Ali assumed office and met Haj Committee chairman Moulana Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani Khusro Pasha.
