The Welfare Party of India Telangana and Youth Welfare Telangana have strongly condemned the cowardly and shameful assault attempt on the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Justice B.R. Gavai, by the so-called lawyer, Rakesh Kishore.
In a show of solidarity and to express collective outrage against the incident, members and leaders from both organizations participated in a mass protest rally organized by the SC ST BC Muslim Front in association with the All India Dalit Sena, Telangana Scheduled Caste Welfare Association, and Telangana Ambedkar Yojana Sangam.
The rally began from Babu Jagjivan Ram Statue (Opposite Nizam College) and culminated at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Statue, Tank Bund, Hyderabad, at 4:00 PM on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, Syed Jalaluddin Zafar, President of Youth Welfare Telangana, and Adv. Mohammad Waseem, General Secretary of Welfare Party of India Telangana, condemned the attack in the strongest possible terms. They described it as a direct assault on the dignity of the Supreme Court and an insult to the constitutional values of justice and equality.
They further emphasized that such acts not only endanger judicial independence but also weaken the democratic fabric of the country. The leaders urged citizens, activists, and political groups to unite in defense of the judiciary and constitutional principles.
The protest concluded with slogans of justice, democracy, and solidarity with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, reaffirming the participants’ commitment to upholding constitutional values and the rule of law.
