Hyderabad, May 17: Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim that he had requested Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu to stop bombing Gaza during Ramadan, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi asked him why his Israeli counterpart did not listen to him.
The Hyderabad MP said the Prime Minister has embarrassed his role model Netanyahu.
The AIMIM leader said in this election, Modi rejected many of his friends. “First you accused your friends of sending black money in tempos and now you have embarrassed your role model Netanyahu. Tell me why did Netanyahu not listen to you? We thought you have very close friendship with many foreign leaders,” Owaisi posted on ‘X’ in his reaction to Modi’s claim made in an interview to a television channel.
Owaisi pointed out that under Modi, India abstained from the United Nations during voting on resolutions calling for ceasefire.
“Adani-Elbit is exporting drones to Israel from Hyderabad. Just a few days ago, 27,000 tons of explosives were being sent from India to Israel by ship and the Spanish government did not allow that ship to stop in the Spanish port,” said Owaisi.
The AIMIM chief also reacted to Modi’s comment during the interview that while the media accuses him of playing politics against Muslims, he attempted to stop bombardment in Gaza during Ramadan.
Asaduddin Owaisi said he is surrounded by such questions because it is a fact that he is fighting the election on the basis of hatred towards Muslims.
Earlier, Owaisi also reacted to Prime Minister Modi’s claim that he is not doing Hindu-Muslim. “Who is the Prime Minister calling ghuspetia. Whom he was referring to when he said they produce more children. Mangalsutra snatched from Hindu women will be given to whom. He was referring to Muslims only,” said the Hyderabad MP.
Owaisi also recalled that it was Modi who had said that people can be recognized by their clothes. “Who spoke of 80-20, Shamshan Qabrastan,” he asked.
