Mangrol: A WPI (Welfare Party of India) delegation, led by Haji Jalil Ahmed, City President of WPI Mangrol, met with Executive Officer of Municipal Corporation here Wednesday to submit a memorandum addressing pressing issues.
The delegation emphasised the urgent need for a speed breaker near the sub-district hospital on Baran Road following a recent fatal accident at a dangerous curve. They highlighted the inadequacy of the current drainage cover at Alav Chowk and requested its extension to prevent potential safety hazards. A request was also made for the construction of a new water tank to enhance the efficiency of the area’s water supply system.
The meeting attended by Haji Jalil Ahmed (City President, WPI Mangrol), Sabir Ahmed, Mohd. Irfan Dayam, Naeem Akhtar, youth leader Salauddin, Mohd. Imran, Wahid Anwar, and other WPI workers, urged the Executive Officer to address these pressing concerns promptly.
