Youth Congress Protests PM’s Silence Over Epstein Files and Naravane Book

New Delhi: The Indian Youth Congress on Tuesday staged a protest at Jantar Mantar, targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi over what it called his silence on the Epstein Files and former Army Chief General Manoj Naravane’s book, Four Stars of Destiny.

Led by national president Uday Bhanu Chib, youth members from across the country gathered in the capital and attempted to march towards the Prime Minister’s residence. Security personnel stopped the march.

Addressing the gathering in the presence of Congress MPs Nasir Hussain and Deepender Singh Hooda, along with Delhi unit president Devender Yadav, Chib linked the controversy to the recent India US trade deal. He alleged that the Prime Minister signed the agreement under pressure due to revelations in the Epstein Files. He claimed the country deserves clarity on the contents of the files and questioned why further disclosures have not been made.

Chib referred to claims within the files regarding interactions between Jeffrey Epstein and global leaders. He alleged that such references have put the Prime Minister under pressure and affected decision making at the highest level. He said the nation’s dignity and policy choices should not suffer due to personal image concerns.

The protest also raised concerns over Parliament proceedings. Chib accused the government of not allowing Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to speak on key national security issues. Referring to Naravane’s book, he claimed it revealed uncomfortable facts about the handling of tensions with China.

The Youth Congress warned that it will continue to raise these issues and demand answers in public forums.
