Zakat and Charitable Foundation Organises Free Medical Camp, 220 Patients Benefited

Lucknow: A free medical camp was organised by Zakat and Charitable Foundation on the occasion of World Heart Day. Held at Garhi Kanaura, Rajajipuram, the camp made common citizens aware of the importance of timely diagnosis of diseases and to create awareness about health.

In this camp, 220 men and women participated. During the camp, patients were provided free consultations and check-ups by specialist doctors for blood sugar, blood pressure, and general health checkups. Medicines were also distributed free of cost.

A team of senior doctors such as Dr. Hira Mumtaz, a senior medical officer of Hardoi; Dr. Fareed Ahmad, and Dr. Arshaf Najeeb, and others rendered their services in the camp. Dr. Fareed Ahmad said that a large number of patients suffering from cough, fever, fungal infection, body pain and weakness visited the camp. The participants called this free medical camp a successful and useful measure and appreciated this service rendered by the Foundation.

In the success of this camp, Farooq Khan, Asad Ali, Hina Kausar, and others extended full cooperation. The functionaries of the Foundation said that the Zakat and Charitable Foundation will continue to organise such free medical camps in different areas in the future as well, so that more and more people can receive medical treatment and healthcare facilities.
