ZCF-Lucknow Distributes Ramadan Kits to One Thousand Needy Individuals

Lucknow: The Zakat and Charitable Foundation, a welfare organisation in Lucknow, has been continuously engaged in various fields of social service for the past four years, carrying out activities aimed at public welfare and community support. The organisation is actively involved in several initiatives, including daily rehabilitation efforts, mobile clinics, winter relief projects, food distribution, monthly ration kit distribution, a model community centre, and social welfare support. Assisting the weaker sections of society is considered one of its primary responsibilities.
With the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan, the foundation, as in previous years, has this year also distributed Ramadan kits to 1,000 deserving individuals and families so that they can meet their basic needs for sehri and iftar during the holy month.
These Ramadan kits distributed by the foundation contain essential food items for daily use, enabling needy families to meet their basic requirements for the entire month. The objective of this initiative is not only to provide immediate food assistance but also to promote the spirit of compassion and cooperation with the underprivileged sections of society during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Zubair Malik Falahi, Secretary of the Zakat and Charitable Foundation, said that the collective support extended through zakat and charity strengthens the spirit of mutual compassion and brotherhood within society. He appealed to philanthropists and well-wishers to participate generously in this noble cause so that assistance can reach a larger number of people in need.
The foundation’s office-bearers also expressed their commitment to continue serving needy individuals through various welfare programmes in the future and to make every possible effort to bring positive change to the lives of the weaker sections of society.
