A joint delegation of Zakat Foundation of India (ZFI) and Interfaith Coalition for Peace led by Dr Syed Zafar Mahmood made a powerful PowerPoint presentation on Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024 before the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Thursday.
Besides Dr Syed Zafar Mahmood, the delegation included Mr Najeeb Jung, Lt Gen Zameeruddin Shah, Dr Udit Raj, Rev Fr Dr Packiam Samuel, Mr Ajmer Singh and Mr Irfan Baig. They presented to the JPC their point-wise analysis of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2024. The presentation was followed by a lively discussion.
