Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Ranchi branch of Jharkhand zone arranged a treat for the residents of the local Cheshire Home residents who are physically and mentally challenged on September 6. Members of the Jamaat fed the residents with their own hands.
The Jamaat team met the head of the Cheshire Home Sister Bimla and enquired about the residents and their system of looking after them.
JIH, Ranchi local chief Matloob Ahmad, who was leading the team, told Radiancenews that he used to see these residents from outside. A thought came to his mind to meet the residents. So, after consulting the team, it was decided to arrange some tasty food while meeting them. When this was proposed to one of the residents, he asked Mr. Matloob to meet the head of the home.
When Mr. Matloob expressed the desire to feed the residents for one time, the head readily accepted the offer. Later he said that JIH, Ranchi would provide other helps also. He told Radiancenews that JIH will try to provide sweaters and blankets for the residents in the coming winter.
Nazim-e-Shahar or the city in-charge of JIH, Ranchi Mohammad Sajid Ansari hailed the selfless services of the Cheshire Home officials to the challenged people of all ages. The JIH team that visited the Cheshire Home was also attended by Mohammad Sohail Akhtar and Ziaul Islam.
