New Delhi, September 30, 2023: Jamia Hamdard has been ranked in 601-800 out of 1904 world Universities in Times Higher Education (THE) World University Ranking (WUR) 2024. Jamia Hamdard is at the 6th position among 91 Indian universities/ higher educational institutions ranked by the Times Higher Education. In WUR 2023 Jamia Hamdard also got a ranking of 601-800. However, in 2023 in India, Jamia Hamdard was at 10 out of 75 Indian universities/ higher educational institutions, a statement of the university said yesterday.
Mr. Hammad Ahmed, Chancellor and Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard congratulated all faculty members, Registrar Dr. M.A. Sikandar, Director IQAC Prof. (Dr.) Raisuddin, Dy. Director IQAC Prof. M. Shahar Yar and Ranking Team, students and staff for this big achievement.
The Vice-Chancellor also thanked all stakeholders of Jamia Hamdard for their efforts and continuous hard work towards achieving excellence. Prof. Alam also thanked the Hamdard National Foundation (India) – HECA/BEB for its continued support to Jamia Hamdard in all initiatives.
Earlier, Jamia Hamdard has achieved another milestone and accredited in ‘A+’ Grade by NAAC in its Fourth Cycle of Accreditation.
