Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Greater Hyderabad, organised Seerah Expo for children with the aim to revive the Sunnah.
Children’s Islamic Circle (CIC), JIH, Hyderabad conducted the day-long Expo at Banjara Function Hall in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Dr Mubashir Ahmed, City President, JIH, Hyderabad inaugurated the expo. He said that it’s the responsibility of all to know about the holy life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and educate others about the message of Seerah. He underlined the need for teaching children from a very young age about Seerah.
Participating children set up stalls, explaining various acts of Sunnah. Through models prepared by them, the children highlighted different aspects of Seerah.
There was recitation of the Quran, Hamd, Naat, stage show, models, robotics show, games and competitions. Dr MKM Zafar, State President, JIH presented awards to the winners of various competitions.
The event also saw participating children on the dais, carrying placards to express solidarity with Palestinians. The placards were carrying slogans like ‘Free Palestine, Let Peace Shine’, ‘End the pain, Let freedom reign’, ‘In solidarity we embrace humanity’, ‘From river to sea Palestine will be free’ and ‘Allah with us’.
