Bengaluru, October 23, 2023: ‘Better late than never.’ This saying has come true with the All India Milli Council which has announced formation of its youth wing, All India Milli Youth Organisation. The formal announcement was made in its executive committee meeting held here on Sunday.
Leaders from different fields, who were invited to the general session, endorsed the decision happily. Working president of Pradesh Congress Committee and chief whip Saleem Ahmed admired the formation of youth wing, stating that it is a right step in grooming second-line leadership in the community. He emphasized working in college campuses and among educated youths.
Presiding over the meeting, Mufti Mohammed Umar Aabdeen stated that deliberations on an offshoot of the Council had been going on for years. Mobilising the youth force for the community cause is a dire necessity and more than that giving a positive and constructive engagement of youths who otherwise are engaged in uncalled for activities is very essential.
He asked the youths to avoid emotionalism and prevent causing damage to the community. Seriousness and positivity is right approach in the community service, he added.
It may take a couple of months to give shape to the decision and launch the youth wing actually. Another long-cherished dream is formation of women’s wing which is in the pipeline, it was told.
Mufti Shuaibulla Khan, Mustafa Rifaee Nadwi, Noushad Alam Qasmi, Moulvi Abdul Gafoor, Asim Sait, Dr. Malik Mughaisi, Umar Aslam Khan, Mehroze Khan, Roshan Abbas, Sulaiman Khan, Syed Shahid were also present on the occasion.
