Welfare Party of India Calls for High-Level Probe into Sursagar Communal Violence

Jodhpur, June 24: A delegation led by Mohammad Chhotu Ghosi (Khileri), District President of the Welfare Party of India Jodhpur, submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan via the Jodhpur District Collector. The memorandum called for an impartial investigation by a high-level Special Operations Group (SOG) or Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the communal riot that occurred in the Sursagar area on Friday.

The delegation comprised notable members of the Welfare Party of India, including State Secretary Zakir Bhati, State Legal Advisor Advocate Atiq Bailim, District Secretary Riyaz Bhati, District Vice President Advocate Arvind Bhati, Insaf Solanki, and Shamsuddin Tanwar.

Zakir Bhati stated that on Saturday, a delegation from the Welfare Party visited the homes of families affected by the communal violence, offering assurance of all possible assistance. He urged the community to maintain peace and harmony and called on the administration to take stringent action against the perpetrators while ensuring that innocent individuals are not wrongfully penalized.
