WORK Felicitates 36 NGOs for Contributions to Society and Humanity

New Delhi, Aug 26: The World Organisation of Religions & Knowledge (WORK) during its 37th Foundation Day program, after completing 36 years of dedicated service and compassion towards humanity, has awarded 36 NGOs for their compassion towards Humanity and even animals at the Shri Satya Sai Auditorium, here Sunday.

During the program, WORK also unveiled the names of 400 members who pledged to donate organs from its network, most of whom are Muslims.

Syed Abdullah Tariq, founder of WORK, while lauding the role of these NGOs for their remarkable contribution towards society, said, “We try to bring people closer by celebrating harmony and unity by focusing on the common grounds that humans share with each other. WORK aims at building a world without boundaries, hatred, and discriminations, where humanity flourishes together as one. He also highlighted the contribution of WORK towards society.”

NGOs like Bhartiya Sav Dharm Sansad, Earth Keeper Connect, NGO Karmyog, Ehsas Charitable Trust, Sadbhav Mission, HWPL, Rashtriya Lok Mat kendra, Zakat Foundation of India, Yes We Can Trust, Brahma Kumari, Super Sikh Foundation, Nayi Dunia Organisation, Aashiyana Old Age Home, Brave Souls Foundation, Guncha Foundation, Help Them Shine Trust, Naari Uthhan Samiti, Youth Empowerment, Ideal Education and Charitable Society and others were felicitated.

Radio Jockey Naved Khan, Dr M. Aslam Parvaiz, Ex-VC MANUU and journalist Neha Rajput and Yongho Son, Secretary General of India Branch of HWPL, distributed the awards and were also felicitated during the program.
