Jaipur, Dec. 24: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Rajasthan organized a self-development program for women at the Islamic Center here Friday. Women delegates from all over the state were motivated to fulfill their social responsibilities. They also learned lessons in team building and spiritual development to make themselves proficient in social work.
The program started with recitation of the Quran, following which the state president of JIH Rajasthan, Muhammad Nazimuddin, in his opening address, said that women should develop their personality in such a way that they can fulfill their social responsibilities skillfully in every field. And can become more and more beneficial for the society.
JIH National Secretary Shaista Rafat, Joint Secretary Sumaiya Maryam, and Executive Member Sana Tazeen guided the participants. State Women’s Wing Secretary Rubina Abrar, Nazia Parveen, Laikunnisa and other members also expressed their views.
During the 3-day visit of the central team led by Shaista Rafat, two more programs were organized in the city – one with Muslim prominent ladies and the other with prominent ladies associated with progressive and left organizations. Participants of these programs, including Nisha Sidhu, Kusum Saiwal, Renuka Pamecha, Mamta Jaitley, Mohini Saini, Dr. Meenakshi, Dr. Samra, Dr. Anjum, Dr. Nasreen, Dr. Shamsa, Salma, Ghazala Yasmin, Sabiha Parveen, Advocate Yadaya Waqar, and Rubina Abrar discussed many topics with the central team members.
